Dance

There is a community arts center with a dance company program, which you have to audition for each semester.  I've tried out and never made it.  I finally got to watch them perform.  It looks like you have to make it your life there is so much to remember.  They might have danced for a total of about 1/2 hour of the performance.. they kept coming back out with long numbers, and it's just a community arts program that only offers beginning lessons.

I saw they had 1 special ballet number.  Maybe, I should stick to adult ballet if I have time to go to dance.  For now, I'm focusing on graduating college and still exercise myself.  They don't perform, so much, but, if you were good maybe, you could get in a Nutcracker at one place, even if you take classes somewhere else.  I almost did in New Orleans as Maid #2, and Maid #1 danced with a professional.  I ended up leaving before rehearsals started because I had to leave college and go home.

I wish I went to a harder dance school when I lived in the New Orleans area, especially seeing I was still in junior high and high school, as opposed to now at age 33.  I did like to work out and took teen gymnastics one year in high school.  I just was mixed up about what school, I guess.

One place I lived didn't have ballet in town, and I couldn't drive to the city.

Here is the ballet company in New Orleans I wish I was in in high school or if they do junior high too.
